Flux Resources is seeking a Special Support Modeler to assist one of our clients in the Portland Oregon area. This is a contract assignment that may last up to 5 years. 

Description: 

• Various types of modeling support are needed to support resilience for BES infrastructure and operations.
• This work includes seismic risk analysis, climate change risk analysis, and mitigation and adaptation strategies for natural hazards, primarily at the planning and pre-design levels of analysis.
• Modeling may include the use of software for scenario analysis, risk assessment, and alternatives analysis, but tools and processes using spreadsheets, graphics, scenario planning, etc., are also acceptable to facilitate decision-making under known and uncertain conditions.
• This modeling will support and integrate into asset management practices used in the Bureau to deliver capital projects.
