We are building a talent pool of qualified engineers for upcoming disaster recovery projects across the Southeastern and Gulf states. These roles support post-storm damage assessments, cost estimation, and infrastructure repair scoping. Candidates must have relevant engineering experience and be comfortable working in both remote and field-based settings.
Conduct assessments of damage to public infrastructure (roads, buildings, utilities).
Review technical data and field documentation to support cost estimating.
Collaborate with site inspectors and estimators to develop repair scopes.
Contribute to planning and mitigation strategies for state and local clients.
May assist with report writing, plan review, and regulatory compliance documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
5+ years of experience in public works, disaster recovery, or infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with RSMeans or similar cost estimation tools.
Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel for short-term field deployments (typically 1–2 weeks at a time).
U.S. work authorization required.
PE license (especially in Florida, Louisiana, or nearby states).
Prior experience supporting post-disaster work (FEMA, CDBG, state/local agencies).
Understanding of local and state building codes, ADA, and mitigation standards.
Comfortable navigating damaged or remote sites (vehicle required for field work).
