Civil Engineer
Location: Wichita Falls, TX 

Overview
The Civil Engineer designs projects and prepares project design drawings (in conjunction with the drafting section), specifications, schedules, and cost estimates for facility and infrastructure projects for construction.

• Responsible for ensuring project designs meet customer’s requirements and adhere to all applicable code requirements and industry standards.
• Directs and collaboratively works with inspectors in construction management activities.
• Provides leadership and mentoring to other subordinate engineers and associate engineers.
• Works in multi-discipline design teams consisting of civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers to address multi-discipline project designs. May lead multi-discipline design teams.
• Develops engineering standards for installation facilities construction.
• Evaluates plans/criteria and completes special analyses supporting engineering efforts accomplished by others.
• Liaises with customers and supervisors to plan, manage, design, and supervise the construction of projects in a customer-oriented manner.
• Works collaboratively with fellow engineers, draftsmen, Programmer, Chief Engineer, Trades Personnel, Shop Leads, Environmental Supervisor, Operations Manager, Deputy
