Future Opportunities with FEMA

We are currently seeking Civil Engineers in support of FEMA disaster relief efforts across the United States. Are you wanting to give back to communities? Do you want to travel across the country and have the travel expenses covered? We have ongoing needs for engineering opportunities in support of FEMA’s Public Assistance program.

What you will be doing:
These deployments focus on rebuilding/reconstruction efforts for anything owned by a government entity such as infrastructure including roadways, bridges, and highways, city/county buildings, school and hospitals. You will be assisting these entities throughout the FEMA grants application process. This could include reviewing construction drawings and change orders for large commercial facilities and/or roadways and bridges to provide technical guidance/recommendations, review/conduct site inspections; validate damages; record detailed damage descriptions, scopes of work and cost estimates; and evaluate projects for compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies.

Pay: $55/hr.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • Ability to commit to 6 or 12 month assignments (You decide what assignments you’re interested in)
  • Ability to travel
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • US Citizen
