Program Quality Control Manager

Pay Range: $200-$260K
Our client is seeking a Program Quality Control Manager to join their team at the FDOT Corridors Program Office (CPO) in Celebration, FL. This embedded position requires the candidate to report to the office five days a week and support the Moving I-4 Forward program, one of the state’s highest-profile infrastructure projects. The Program Quality Control Manager will play a key role in overseeing and ensuring the quality of the program’s execution.
Responsibilities:
Provide professional engineering consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of diverse projects.
Develop and evaluate engineering reports, plans, and specification criteria.
Coordinate with the project team, including client communication, proposal coordination, and managing other discipline-related activities.
Review and approve specifications, scaled drawings, proposals, and final plans to ensure they meet client requirements and construction standards.
Meet with clients to define objectives and requirements for the project scope.
Perform quality audits and ensure technical accuracy by reviewing the work of junior staff and providing guidance to other professionals and technicians.
Conduct quality control reviews, field reviews, and observations of ongoing construction projects.
Lead a discipline team or multidisciplinary teams, providing technical guidance and support to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in good standing.
Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and ordinances.
Proficiency in production software and construction document production.
Proven ability to address challenging issues in a professional manner and lead teams to successful outcomes.
Experience working on major projects or multiple moderate-sized projects, with a focus on providing technical guidance to junior staff.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, contractors, team members, and key stakeholders.
