Salary Range

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager II to support our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, known for their commitment to innovation and sustainable energy solutions. This dynamic role will provide an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in project management and technical expertise to contribute to the successful execution of critical projects across various energy infrastructures, including substations, transmission and distribution (T&D), gas-hydro, and operational support groups (OSG).

Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers in the coordination and management of office administration and field operations for Project Management Integration, ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.

  • Utilize expertise in data analysis to assist in monitoring project performance, providing critical insights to improve efficiency and decision-making processes.

  • Participate actively in work management, quality assurance, and compliance with project safety requirements, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards.

  • Contribute to key project activities, including cost management, scheduling, procurement, and resource planning, ensuring that the project remains on track and within budget.

  • Engage in field operations, supporting on-site activities to ensure successful project delivery, while maintaining strong safety and quality protocols.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination to drive project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or a related technical field).

  • 2-5 years of experience in the energy sector, with hands-on experience in project management or related roles.

  • Certification as an Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to create comprehensive reports and deliver presentations.

  • Previous experience working in one or more of the following areas is a plus: substations, transmission and distribution (T&D), gas-hydro, and operational support groups (OSG).

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and stakeholders.

  • A proactive approach with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes within project timelines.
