We are currently seeking Environmental Specialists: EHP Specialists, Biologists, Wetland Specialists, Environmental Planners, and Environmental Engineers in support of FEMA disaster relief efforts across the United States.
Pay: $60/hr. REMOTE Project: Puerto Rico
What you will be doing: These deployments focus on rebuilding/reconstruction efforts for anything owned by a government entity such as infrastructure including roadways, bridges, and highways, city/county buildings, school and hospitals. You will be assisting these entities throughout the FEMA grants application process. This could include scoping environmental/historic issues, reviewing grant applications for compliance, providing technical assistance to those involved with grant implementation, and ensuring compliance is documented, provide reports documenting EHP issues and triggers and preparing NEPA documents.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years professional experience
Bachelors Degree in an Environmental Science related field
Experience preparing NEPA documents
Ability to commit to 6 or 12 month assignments (You decide what assignments you’re interested in)
