Automation & Integration Engineer (Substation Automation)

We are hiring! We're seeking an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our client's office in Rochester, NY, Augusta, ME or Binghamton, NY as an Automation & Integration Engineer.
How will you contribute to the team?
Developing SCADA maps RTUs in compliance with utility client standards.
Supporting the testing and communications in the SCADA/EMS system.
Knowledge of electronic and automation functions, including digital protection.
Knowledge of IEC 61850.
Knowledge of communication protocol, especially DNP.
Knowledge of SCADA Systems, manufacturers & equipment.
Knowledge of communications – digital radio & fiber optics.
Experience with electrical substation, substation equipment and power grids.
What will you contribute?
An Engineering degree from a recognized institution.
P.E. License not required, but preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation, digital, relay or utility engineering.
Knowledge of codes and standards such as IEEE and ANSI, including OH&S Regulations, NERC, and FERC regulations.
