We are seeking experienced Claims Reviewers in the Santa Fe, NM area to support disaster-related claim reviews, documentation, and customer support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with claims-related technology tools.
Review and assess disaster-related claims for accuracy, eligibility, and completeness.
Evaluate losses, damages, repairs, and replacement costs using established guidelines.
Communicate clearly with claimants, FEMA staff, and other stakeholders to gather information, explain policy, and provide status updates.
Utilize claims management software, databases, and additional technology tools to process, document, and track claim information.
Ensure compliance with federal policies, procedures, and disaster assistance regulations.
Technical Knowledge: Disaster-related knowledge and background to accurately assess losses, damages, repairs, and replacement costs.
Clear and Effective Communication: Customer service, excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge and ability to explain policy and regulations to claimants, FEMA staff, and other stakeholders.
Use of Technology: Proficiency in using claims management software, databases, and other technology tools that facilitate claim processing, documentation, and communication.
