Flux Resources is seeking a Domestic Water Engineer for one of our clients. This is Direct Hire Opportunity paying in the $80,000-$100,000 range.

Summary

Looking to hire a self-driven and passionate civil or mechanical engineer to work in our domestic water division. Responsibilities

- Work with a team to fund, plan, and design a variety of municipal water systems.
- Design water system improvements, including development of drawings and specifications, for water pump stations, water storage reservoirs, water treatment systems with related site development and appurtenances
- Develop Water System Master Plans, Water Management and Conservation Plans, and other water system reports.
- Assist with developing project scopes of work, budgets, schedules, and a project delivery plan.
- Provide in-field technical assistance for construction, utilities coordination, and subconsultant coordination.
- Coordinate with clients and contractors.
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity take-offs.
- Participate in public meetings.
- Meet the financial goals for both the client and the company.

Qualifications

- A four-year civil or mechanical engineering degree from an accredited university.
- Three-plus years of design experience developing drawings and specifications related to pump stations, water storage reservoirs, and/or water - treatment systems.
- A Professional Engineer’s License in Oregon and/or Washington, or the ability to obtain one within one year of employment.
- Valid Driver's License

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Public speaking skills with experience participating in meetings with clients, the public, and contractors.
- Familiarity with municipal infrastructure funding programs and procedures.
- Experience in developing and writing planning documents, work agreements, and task orders.
 Experience with Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and other PDF tools is desired but not mandatory.
- Experience working with subconsultants.
- Willingness to contribute to a team environment.
- Experience with scheduling, managing resources, and producing timely deliverables.
- An interest in developing effective, long-lasting relationships with clients, peers, and management.
