Acts as owner’s representative for construction projects.
Manage and supervise the health and safety program for the construction management team, as well as the Trade Contractors’ health and safety officers.
Work with Corporate HSSE team in the implementation of a site-specific health and safety manual that includes project policies and work procedures.
Maintain safety records and statistics and analyze the results to continuously improve the safety program by hazard mitigation and accident avoidance.
Other responsibilities: safety training and orientation, investigation of all incidents, ensuring Trade Contractors adhere to the site-specific safety procedures, including the wearing of proper personal protective equipment (PPE), monitoring of and participation in joint safety meetings.
Participation in medical monitoring processes, and management of HSE-related licenses, permits, and authorizations required to perform construction operations onsite.
Be available to respond to incidents during off-hours on a rotational basis.
Performs such assignments and duties as the Supervisor may deem necessary from time to time.
