Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Center Design

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership and oversight for the end-to-end electrical design of large-scale data centers. This individual will be responsible for ensuring design quality, code compliance, and consistency across the entire power distribution chain, from utility and medium-voltage infrastructure through low-voltage distribution and rack-level delivery. The role will also support the development of internal engineering standards, specifications, and best practices as the organization rapidly scales its data center portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience designing mission-critical facilities or large-scale data centers, with a deep understanding of electrical distribution topologies including 2N, N+1, catcher bus, and distributed-redundant architectures. Experience supporting hyperscale environments or mission-critical design projects is highly desirable. Candidates should be familiar with NEC, TIA-942, NFPA, and IEEE standards and possess strong technical expertise in data center electrical systems.

Preferred qualifications include experience supporting AI/HPC environments, liquid cooling infrastructure, EPMS/BMS integration, and GPU-dense deployments. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred, along with proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, and Bluebeam.

Compensation: $200,000–$270,000 base salary plus equity, comprehensive healthcare benefits, retirement plans, and generous PTO.

Target Candidate Profile: Senior Electrical Engineer, Lead Electrical Engineer, Principal Electrical Engineer, Data Center Electrical Engineering Manager, or Mission Critical Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in large-scale data center design and electrical infrastructure.
