Working closely with internal stakeholders and external engineering partners, this role will help drive innovative cooling solutions, optimize facility performance, and support the continued evolution of advanced AI infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for high-density, mission-critical data center facilities
- Develop and maintain modular mechanical design templates to support standardized and repeatable facility deployments
- Support mechanical engineering efforts from initial concept development through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and project completion
- Serve as a technical liaison between internal teams and external consultants, contractors, and engineering partners
- Ensure mechanical infrastructure integrates effectively with high-density cooling and electrical systems
- Perform engineering analysis and evaluate system performance to support design decisions and capacity planning
- Utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling to evaluate thermal performance and optimize cooling system effectiveness
- Develop innovative, scalable solutions that balance technical requirements, deployment speed, and supply chain considerations
- Review engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with project standards, performance requirements, and design objectives
- Support continuous improvement of mechanical design standards, specifications, and best practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, architectural, and operations personnel
- Manage technical relationships with external consultants and hold project partners accountable for quality and performance expectations
